27 February 2018

In the National Park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha" there are two international forest certificates: FSC и PEFC (FCB). FCB – Forest Certification of Belarus.

In March 2018, the team of experts “Belgiproles” (Minsk) will visit the National Park.

The specialists will conduct a repeated certification audit of the forest management and forest management system according to PEFC (Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification shemes), as well as work on the periodic evaluation of certified forest production and processed products based on its origin.

Forest certification for the National Park is one of the sphere of our activity that contributes to ensuring the productivity and sustainability of forest stands, increasing biological diversity in forests, minimizing the negative impact on forestry production on the environment, increasing the export potential of the forestry sector, and removing technical barriers in the sawn timber international trade.
